I have not found a bap record for this John Thomas so this person may not be a son of John & Jane but it seems highly likely.
Reasons in favour of this entry:
1. 'Tertius' means 'third' - John Tertius was not the third son however but he might have been the third 'John' - in which case, there must be a second.
2. There is too big a gap between the first John (1857) and John Tertius (1861).
3. The bap record of John Tertius names him as 'John Thomas' - suggesting some confusion by the vicar with this one (unless these are two different people).
